Armenia's Ministry of Justice plans to publish the draft of the new constitution in November 2026, unless unforeseen circumstances arise. This is what Minister of Justice Sarbohi Galian said. According to her, the public discussion of the project will take place according to the procedure established for bills, but will be broader and longer, taking into account the meaning and volume of the document. Referring to Azerbaijan's demands to change the Armenian constitution, Galyan emphasized that the development of a new basic law is an internal matter of Armenia. The minister assured that the authorities intend to prepare a new constitution, and not just remove certain provisions from the current constitution.
