Armenia and Germany signed a joint declaration of intent for cooperation in the field of environmental and climate protection. The document identifies key areas of interaction: conservation and restoration of biological diversity, management of specially protected natural areas, mitigation and adaptation to climate change, development of a circular economy and waste management. Special emphasis in the announcement is placed on the sustainable management of water resources and the conservation of Lake Saban.
