The Armenian government plans to limit Yerevan's share in the program to support budding entrepreneurs for 2026: at least 80% of the places will go to participants from the regions, and the share of entrepreneurs from the capital will not exceed 20%. The plan was presented by Economy Minister Geborg Papoyan at a cabinet meeting on October 29. 100 million drams (about 277.4 thousand dollars) can be implemented, of which 75 million drams (about 208 thousand dollars) will be used for direct financial support. As a result of the competition, at least 30 participants will be able to receive up to 2.5 million drams (about 6.9 thousand dollars) each.
