The mayor of Yerevan, Tigran Avinian, said at the meeting that the areas that will be allocated for the construction of the Ajpanyak metro station will be recognized as an area of public interest. The mayor promised that the construction, which will be carried out by an Armenian company, will start next year. It should be noted that the planning of the new station was carried out by the Russian company OJSC Metrogiprotrans, and its construction was supposed to begin in 2024.
