Israeli analyst Peretz says that the investigation into allegations of foreign interference in the Israeli elections is in advanced stages, with the Mossad investigating activities abroad and the Shin Bet dealing with operations inside Israel.
The allegations extend beyond cash bribes to include sophisticated financing mechanisms allegedly designed to influence voters.
Peretz says the investigation has now revealed possible involvement from Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan and Iran, with further findings now subject to heavy censorship.
