Gadi Eisenkot:
The Israeli public voted against the continuation of Netanyahu's role as Prime Minister of Israel.
Netanyahu is facing a larger and stronger Israeli majority tonight.
A worthy leader will receive the people's vote of no confidence and today will announce his retirement from political life.
In an election with such a turnout, it would be a mistake to hold another election.
It is our duty, our personal duty, to do everything we can to achieve the will of the people.
I would like to address here to all the heads of the security system and the civil service.
Netanyahu is a temporary prime minister, and has neither a mandate nor a vote of confidence.
Remember, you are only serving the state and the interests of the citizens of Israel.
Be strong and steadfast in the face of any attempt to doubt you.
You have my full support.
Netanyahu, don't you dare use Israel's security to serve your political needs!
