The Ministry of the Interior participated with a delegation led by the Director of the Counter-Terrorism Department, Lt. Col. Naif Abdel-Majid, in the work of the twenty-ninth conference of those responsible for the fight against terrorism, which was held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Ministers of the Interior in the capital of Tunisia.

The delegation discussed terrorist financing patterns and ways to deal with them, and called for the use of modern technologies and advanced financial analysis to locate suspicious networks, emphasizing the need to strengthen security and financial coordination between the member states to monitor developing methods, especially those related to virtual assets and electronic payment methods.

The participation confirms the Ministry's desire to increase joint Arab cooperation and exchange successful methods in eradicating the scourge of terrorism.
