The head of the Syrian embassy in Berlin, Mohammed Bara Shukri, met with the German Chancellor's representative for investment affairs, Martin Blessing, on the sidelines of the second day of the Berlin Global Dialogue.

The two sides discussed ways to increase economic cooperation between Syria and Germany, the challenges facing the expansion of investment activity and ways to deal with them, in addition to developing communication mechanisms with the Syrian Investment Authority and introducing the opportunities and sectors available to German companies and investors.
