Launch of the Salam Air line between Muscat and Damascus at Muscat International Airport.

In the presence of the head of the Syrian Embassy in Muscat, Khaled Al-Ayoubi, in preparation for the launch of the flights in the coming days, making SalamAir the first Omani airline to operate direct flights to Syria.

In his speech during the inauguration, Al-Ayoubi emphasized that the direct flights will contribute to increasing economic and tourism cooperation between the two countries, facilitate the connection of Syrian expatriates with their homeland, and provide wider travel options at competitive costs, as well as support the movement of businessmen, trade exchanges and air transport.
