🇸🇾/🇮🇶 Iraq rejects a Syrian request to return thousands suspected of belonging to ISIS. The national security adviser in Iraq announced that Baghdad rejected Damascus' request to return thousands of detainees suspected of belonging to ISIS to Syria. This decision comes after a tripartite meeting between senior Iraqi, Syrian and American officials to discuss the fate of ISIS prisoners. Iraq has already returned about 50 Syrian detainees after they confirmed that they do not belong to organization.
