France criticized Iran's ambassador in Paris for what it described as an Iranian "disinformation campaign" regarding student protests in the country. The French Foreign Ministry said that Iran's decision to summon the French ambassador in Tehran yesterday was baseless, and called for an end to this type of "provocation". She also informed the Iranian envoy that publishing false content through the official accounts of the Iranian Foreign Ministry is unacceptable.
