- ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ/๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ท Iran rejected JD Vance's demands to significantly reduce its uranium enrichment, when an Iranian official told Reuters that Tehran "will never give up its right to enrich uranium" and that Washington's demands "contradict Iran's demands".

The official said that there are currently no nuclear negotiations between Iran and the US and that Washington must first meet Tehran's conditions before the nuclear issue can be discussed. The recognition of Iran's right to enrichment remains a "red line".

This rejection came after J.D. Vance called for a "significant" reduction in Iran's enrichment capacity, especially in its stockpile of 60% enriched uranium, and said that the United States "will not exchange words for actions."
