Nidal Hasan is an American citizen of Palestinian origin and worked as a psychiatrist in the US Army at the Forecasters base in Texas. This base was where soldiers moved before they went to Iraq and Afghanistan.

In November 2009, Nidal entered the base with a weapon and shot and killed 13 American soldiers and wounded 32 others. There was a skirmish incident with the police, and Nidal was hit by a bullet and became paralyzed.

During the investigations he said that he was trying to prevent soldiers from going to kill Muslims, and he was sentenced to death in 2013, and today Trump signed the decision to execute him by firing squad.
