The Minister of the Interior, engineer Anas Khattab, opened the branch of criminal investigations in the Homs governorate after it finished its rehabilitation and equipment.

The opening of the branch, the first of its kind in the Homs governorate, is a step to strengthen criminal activity, expand the scope of research and investigation work, and increase the efficiency of handling cases and uncovering their circumstances.

The opening was held in the presence of the Governor of Homs, Mr. Mohaf Al-Nassan, the assistants of the Minister of the Interior, and the Chief of Internal Security in the district, Lt. Col. Bassem Mohammed Shaaban, alongside a number of department heads and members of the People's Assembly.
