The Ministry of Interior participated with an official delegation led by the Director of the Department of Criminal Investigations, Brigadier General Hussein Al-Hammadi, and in the company of Mr. Zaher Zidan from the Department of International Cooperation - the branch of the International Criminal Police, in the work of "the multilateral regional meeting towards a comprehensive transnational Arab strategy, the capital of Egypt, organized in Cairo, during the period between September 13 and 16, 2026.

The Ministry of Interior participated with an official delegation led by the Director of the Department of Criminal Investigations, Brigadier General Hussein Al-Hammadi, and in the company of Mr. Zaher Zidan from the Department of International Cooperation - the branch of the International Criminal Police, in the work of "the multilateral regional meeting towards a comprehensive transnational Arab strategy, the capital of Egypt, organized in Cairo, during the period between September 13 and 16, 2026.

The meeting, attended by the League of Arab States, the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), and the British Embassy, also witnessed discussions that dealt with the main issues of the upcoming strategy, which are prevention, prosecution, protection and strengthening partnerships. On the sidelines of the meeting, the Syrian delegation held a series of bilateral meetings with a number of heads of participating Arab delegations, representatives of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences and the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, during which a number of issues related to dealing with cooperation in this organized crime were discussed.
