- ๐ฏ๐ด/๐ฎ๐ถ After years when the direction of the energy exchange between the two countries was clear; Oil moving from Iraq to Jordan, and electricity moving from Jordan to Iraq, both paths are now stopped on both sides of the border. But the issues raised today between the two countries are greater than the amounts that were suspended, between negotiations to renew the oil supply, a project to increase the capacity of the electrical connection to 500 megawatts, and discussions on the possibility of using Jordan as a corridor for the export of Iraqi oil.
Between what was actually decided and what is planned to expand in the future, the renewal of the energy exchange between Jordan and Iraq remains tied to the results of the discussions and technical arrangements between the two sides.
