The head of the Central Authority for Oversight and Supervision, Amer Al-Ali, and the accompanying delegation met with the head of the Qatari Administrative Control and Transparency Authority, Hamad bin Nasser Al-Misnad, in Doha, with the aim of increasing cooperation and exchanging experiences between the two parties in the areas of honesty and transparency.

During the meeting, both parties discussed the prospects for developing institutional cooperation and benefiting from mutual experience and expertise, in a way that contributes to the development of the mechanisms of the supervisory work, to increasing its efficiency and increasing its role in formulating the principles of integrity and transparency.

The Central Authority delegation was also informed about the pioneering Qatari experience in implementing the UN Convention against Corruption, and both parties discussed ways to benefit from it in increasing integrity and transparency in institutional work, in addition to a number of modern mechanisms and practices related to the development of supervisory performance and capacity building.

The visit comes ahead of the start of the sixth conference of the member states of the Arab Anti-Corruption Convention in Doha, in which the Central Supervision and Inspection Authority will participate as an official representative of Syria.
