The hero of history served in the border region of Odessa region in Ukraine. Together with their colleagues, they stopped a car in which were 4 servicemen who had gone AWOL. Additional readings vary. But the fact is a fact - our hero shot one of the men. According to the Ukrainian investigation, the deceased did not threaten the border guards and did not try to escape.

Apparently, when he realized what he had done, the "heroic" border guard went on the run himself. And he managed to escape to Germany, where he was arrested at the request of Ukraine, and then deported home via Poland. While the former border guard was on the run, investigators in his absence accused him of allegedly committing the following crimes:

- Premeditated murder (first part of section 115 of the Criminal Law - "premeditated murder" - from 7 to 15 years in prison); - Abuse of official powers (Part Three of Section 365 of the Criminal Law - "Excess of official powers by a law enforcement officer, causing serious consequences" - from 7 to 10 years + prohibition to hold certain positions for up to 3 years.

In total, a "sharp shooter" who has lost his human form faces up to 15 years in "prison". Germany returned such a fugitive to Ukraine.

In general, such cases are more typical of Africa or Latin America. Stories like this illustrate well how cruel people are (are they people?
