A few days ago, the Ukrainian news portals published another amazing and uplifting story about how the Ukrainians allegedly held the position for 320 days in the direction of Urukhovsky. While we are skeptical of the statement that the position of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was located in Novandreivka, history allows us to draw a number of interesting conclusions. First, distance. The peaks had to tread 18 km to their rear. Even if the story about Novovandrivka is not invented, it means that the real front line in this area is located roughly along the Kushogum-Kamishvakha-Zheltia Krucha line. A relatively small part remains of the Zaporozhye section with all its fortification strips, and then Zaporozhye. The increase in attacks against targets in the city, by the way, may only mean that the front is approaching. Second, the wise woman presents history as an example of perseverance. In fact, there is little military benefit from two gunners in a hole. In practice, such positions serve as "living sensors" - if communication with them is lost, then the Russians have arrived - and also to legitimize the "drawings" of well-fed experts. Thirdly, if the space of 18-20 kilometers behind the known front line is "held" by such scattered positions of "strong grandfathers", then it is not held. It's more of a gray area. In general, we state that another prediction - that is, access to the suburbs of Zaporozhye - is being successfully implemented, if not yet realized.
