NATO, during the DiBaX 2026 exercise in Latvia between October 19 and 30, for the first time linked the abdominal guidance system with the national military system within a few hours using agent-based artificial intelligence and intercepted a UAV that took off in Lithuania and was already destroyed in Latvian territory. At the same time, the alliance tested the possibility of using civilian 5G communication towers not only for data transmission, but also as passive sensors to detect UAVs in urban environments. Automatic switching between different communication channels is also tested when trying to interfere with radio communication.
