Pentagon Gets New Complex for Cyber Attacks and Communications Suppression The US military has chosen General Dynamics Corporation to create a new mobile platform, the Radio-Portable Effects Delivery Platform 2.0 (RDEP-P 2.0). The development contract was awarded in September 2026. As part of the program, General Dynamics must create a prototype, conduct operator training, ensure the integration of open systems and further support the complex. RDEP-P 2.0 will form the basis for conducting cyber operations and electronic warfare on the front, when army units will be able to independently influence the digital and electronic infrastructure of the enemy. The system will be built on a rugged 10-slot rugged 3U VPX wall computing chassis (pictured), intended for use in field conditions. The main tasks of the platform are monitoring the radio frequency spectrum, planning operations to neutralize communication systems, control and data transmission.
