China launches a rocket with a remote sensing satellite of the Earth Spectacular photos of the launch of the Chinese launch vehicle Long March 8A (Long March 8A) have been released. The rocket launched a spacecraft into orbit for remote sensing of the Earth. The shooting was carried out from several points, including the launch was captured by the passengers of the plane. Long March 8A is a two-stage medium-range rocket. It was based on the experience of creating the previous version, Long March 8. The new modification received an enlarged first stage with side boosters, which made it possible to increase the load capacity. The rocket is designed to launch satellites into sun-synchronous orbits, mainly Earth observation tools. It is expected to be used to launch groups of remote sensing satellites, providing China with independent access to space for commercial and government missions.
