Saudi Arabia expands ballistic missile production Riyadh is preparing to produce more powerful solid fuel missiles. Satellite images show an active expansion of the complex in al-Dudaymi (200 km west of Riyadh). The photographs show a new building with pouring pits - these are the places where the fuel mixture for rocket engine housings is poured. It is at least twice the existing size. There are protective walls around against possible explosions. The other new building was apparently intended to store fuel components or finished rocket parts.
