The German Minister of Defense, Boris Pistorius, announced that Germany is considering joining the global combat air program led by the United Kingdom to develop a next-generation fighter jet, following the collapse of the Franco-German FCAS project. Pistorius will hold talks with Italy and Japan over the next two weeks to discuss possible entry conditions.
