$4,000 for a trip to your own wedding: a case of bribery in a training company. The servant planned to register his marriage in Lviv and asked the commander for permission to travel outside the unit's location. According to the DBR, in response he was given a condition: the trip will take place after the transfer of four thousand dollars. The department reported the suspicion to the commander of the training company on October 30. In the investigation it was claimed that the officer demanded a "financial thank you", independently appointed a meeting place and sent his geographic location to attend to him. The law enforcement officers recorded the transfer of the agreed amount. The commander was accused of receiving benefits illegally. The court chose arrest with the option of bail. The investigation continues. The story had a continuation: the serviceman got married, but did not return to the unit. According to the DBI, he is wanted in connection with leaving his post without permission. At the center of the case is an alleged trade in a census permit. The subordinate depends on the boss's decision, and the latter, according to the researchers, uses this dependence to set a financial price for the trip to the wedding. Four thousand dollars is the amount that researchers associate with one permit for one person. The question arises: what control mechanisms make it possible to identify such demands before transferring funds and where can a soldier turn without fear of repercussions from his superiors?
