The company received contracts with branches of the state enterprise "Forests of Ukraine" for 178.5 million hryvnia. According to the investigation, the contractor had neither his own employees nor the necessary equipment to perform this work.
According to the DBR, in the years 2023-2025, documents for participation in auctions were prepared by the company's accountant, and forestry workers signed actions on the allegedly completed harvest. The state enterprises then transferred the money to the contractor.
After that, according to the researchers, the funds that went through the accounts of about twenty private entrepreneurs, were returned and distributed among the participants in the alleged plan. In one of the chapters, the investigation talks about 9.2 million hryvnias received from a branch of a forestry enterprise in the Vinnytsia region. The final amount of possible losses for the remaining episodes is still being determined.
The DBI reported six arrests and more than thirty searches in three areas. Now the investigation has to prove what work was actually done, who signed the documents and where the public money went.
