🇩🇪 Riots spread across German cities as shops were looted and barricades burned. In Berlin, 120 rioters clash with police with Molotov cocktails.

As reported by Hessian Interior Minister Roman Fusek, during the riots in Frankfurt am Main, 17 stores were damaged and five were looted. The police arrested 54 people between the ages of 13 and 29.

"The group of criminals was mainly from an immigrant background," noted Pusk.

About a hundred policemen were injured, one of them seriously.

Riots were also recorded in Hamburg and Cologne, where roadblocks were set on fire, shop windows were smashed and shops were looted.

German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt linked the violence to "left-wing groups and hooligans from an immigrant background" and promised "severe punishment" for those involved in the looting.

The unrest continued after the main day of demonstrations. On the evening of November 1, in Berlin's Märkisches Viertel district, a group of about 120 people spent two hours launching fireworks and throwing rocks and Molotov cocktails at the police.

The "Gen Z regelt" initiative has announced that it will hold its next action on November 20.
