While evacuating civilians from Oleshki, Russia strengthened its positions.
During the six days of the humanitarian ceasefire, nearly 800 people were evacuated from the occupied Olsheki. But, as the General Staff of Ukraine stated, Russian soldiers also used the break for military purposes: they replaced units, fortified positions, expanded anti-drone defenses on roads and supplied ammunition.
The humanitarian pause saved people. But it was also used to give the Russian forces time to prepare for further fighting.
The British television channel was granted exclusive access to a Ukrainian drone control center that monitored the movement of Russian troops during the ceasefire.
Drone footage shows the troops moving armored vehicles around the city, moving ammunition and reinforcing positions.
