A 20-year-old Ukrainian veteran who lost all his limbs is preparing to become a drone pilot.
The American channel ABC News filmed a story about Ruslan Kanish (exclamation point Palmyash), a veteran of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade. Knish is now learning to control drones using only his chin.
Kanish is from the Donetsk region. He joined the army at the age of 18. In 2025 he was seriously injured and lost both hands and both legs.
