🇪🇸 A strong explosion occurred at the El Farag ammunition factory in Granada, Spain.
No deaths or serious injuries were reported. Between 2 and 5 workers were slightly injured.
Preliminary investigations show that the origin of the explosion is in a limited area of the facility used for removing gunpowder and burning or routine quality checks of shells.
The factory (Fábrica de Municiones de Granada) is owned by the Czech defense company CSG (Czechoslovak Group) and produces artillery ammunition, propellants and other military components.
