Flash: 🇷🇸🇮🇱 The Serbian police shot dead a knife-wielding minor who attacked an officer guarding the Israeli embassy in Belgrade.
Authorities described the unidentified minor as a known supporter of the Islamic State (ISIS). Serbian security services have already followed him after he displayed the black flag of IS on his Instagram profile.
Armed with two knives, he approached a member of the elite gendarmerie at the entrance to the embassy, shouted "Allahu Akbar" and launched an attack.
The officer suffered minor facial injuries but shot and killed the attacker in self-defense.
Serbian Interior Minister Ivic Dacic later announced that the country had raised its terrorism from a flash: to the highest level.
