Finnish President Alexander Staab and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Storr had a telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin.
According to the office of the Finnish president, the conversation was coordinated with Ukraine and following the meeting of Stov and Stora in Oslo on October 20.
"The conversation was open and substantial. We are Russia's neighbors. The outcome of this war will directly affect our security and the security of all of Europe. Ending the war requires direct dialogue," Staub said.
