🇦🇹 Austria expels four Russian diplomats on suspicion of espionage.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs declared them persona non grata and ordered them to leave, saying that they had engaged in activities that did not correspond to their status. The decision was based on national security data.

Three worked at the Russian Embassy in Vienna and one belonged to the Russian delegation to the OSCE, Profile reports.

According to the newspaper, three of them were on the Austrian authorities' list of 21 people suspected of ties to Russian intelligence.

In mid-August, the Department of Defense sent an email to military and reserve personnel warning of possible contact attempts by alleged Russian agents.
