88.8% of approximately 148,311 wanted criminals in Germany as of July 1, 2026, held foreign citizenship

The figures were released following a parliamentary inquiry by Alternative for Germany (AfD) MP Sebastian Münzenmaier, 37, who described them as evidence of Germany's failed immigration policy and called for tougher border controls and the deportation of foreign criminals.
