Stanford University has an exceptional Catholic conversion cohort, with 46 students and young people who fully entered the church this Easter, more than three-quarters of the 14 who registered last year.
The group included 16 adults who were baptized, 10 who were accepted into full membership with the Catholic church, and 20 Catholics who received approval. Stanford's Catholic community received only four adult baptisms per year for about three decades.
Catholic enrollment also rose at other large American universities, with Harvard reporting a doubling and NYU and USC recording significant increases.
