New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani Doubles Funding to $6.4 Million for Anti-Hate Program Including Arab American Association of New York (AAANY)

AAANY has given money to CAIR-New York, a group with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, which is banned as a terrorist organization in several Middle Eastern countries, such as the United Arab Emirates, Jordan and Egypt.

AAANY has also been led for more than a decade by Mamedani ally and prominent pro-Palestinian activist Linda Sarsour and has supported anti-Israel protests since the October 7 Hamas attack.
