Two gay men, aged 29 and 33, were attacked by about 10 Arab men in Bremen, Germany, while returning home from celebrations to mark the Day of German Unity.

The attackers loudly insulted them and shouted homophobic abuse in Arabic.

When the 29-year-old tried to film what was happening, the members of the group punched him before fleeing on foot. Paramedics gave him medical treatment on the spot before taking him to the hospital.
