Immigration is rapidly changing the demographics of schools in Quebec City, Canada, with the number of foreign-born students doubling in just five years.
The first generation immigrant students currently make up between 50% and 72% of the students in about 12 schools on the north coast of the city.
The leading countries of origin for new immigrants were Cameroon, China, Algeria and Tunisia.
