The Islamic regime in Iran yesterday hanged the 21-year-old anti-regime protester Alireza Raisi

Alireza was arrested because of the anti-government demonstrations in Isfaya in January 2026.

The Iranian authorities accused him of "war against God" (muharbah) and "corruption on earth", and sentenced him to death twice.

Human rights organizations reported limited access to effective legal representation, closed-door proceedings and evidence that statements were extracted under duress.

Alireza was only 21 years old.

He was murdered in Destagrad prison in Isfaya alongside 24-year-old Alireza Sepahi.

Two young men entered this prison with a whole life that could have been ahead of them.

Both did not come out.
