🇾🇪 The Yemeni government is planning a large-scale attack against the Houthis

Rashad al-Alimi told Yemeni television that the operation would cover every active front and take back all the territory held by the Iran-backed group.

He ordered the army to advance "until the country is liberated", accusing the Houthis of arming themselves and attacking civilians, state institutions, neighbors and waterways.

Heavy fighting resumed. The Houthis have increased attacks on Saudi Arabia and say they want to block Saudi oil tankers at Bab al-Mandab.

Saudi Arabia supports the recognized government of Yemen and attacks the positions of the Houthis.
