🇩🇪🇷🇺 A Russian biker linked to the GRU organized a sabotage attempt at Leipzig Airport

Perhaps Oleg Bashkin planned the attack in Leipzig-Halle. Andriy Krashkov of Belarus allegedly carried it out.

German journalists said that Voshkin entered through Turkey, rented a car in Berlin, toured the airport, and then assigned Karshkov the job.

The device matched others from suspected sabotage cases in Europe. Investigators believe that the explosives were brought in through Bulgaria and Serbia, hidden in trucks.

Bushkin has long been in contact with GRU officer Denis Smolyanov, who has been described as the main organizer of Russian attacks across Europe. Lithuanian intelligence says he heads the Ukraine department of the GRU.
