Putin: "Take a grenade from a Soviet soldier, a fascist, damn it"

Putin called the proposal to end attacks on Ukrainian ships in exchange for an end to attacks on Russian refineries "pointless".

According to him, Russia is attacking Ukrainian shipping because Ukraine allegedly "knocked out" about 100 Russian vessels. Putin said that Ukraine was the first to attack Russian ships, and for that it received a "mirror reaction".

So the Kremlin apparently decided that the best way to solve the problem is to hurt even more.

After being asked to stop the attacks, Putin gave a pompous story about a "grenade by a Soviet soldier".
