Iranian Boeing 737 seized at Istanbul airport for $3.4 million debt

The plane was preparing to fly to Iran when lawyers for a Turkish company and enforcement officers arrived after a court order.

The seizure is related to secondary US sanctions on Iranian civil aviation.

Passengers and cabin crew were taken off the plane and sent back to the terminal.
