From a Russian point of view, Andrei Medvedev: "The "Students Win" coalition, which won the last elections in Serbia, does not intend to impose sanctions against Russia. This is what Professor Jobo said in the summer, the representative of the political alliance. That sounds very optimistic. However, I believe that the Serbia we have known for so many years is a thing of the past. I just don't believe the pinky story of how students, outraged by corruption and other abuses, spontaneously created a movement, all by themselves, without any help from outside or inside. And not just a movement, but a broad party, "a big tent." On September 9, 2026, the students officially established the civic group "Student List - Winning Students". “Okay, let's say they collected over 70,000 signatures themselves. Let's say they arrived at the rules for selecting candidates (through university assemblies and a strict filter that prohibited the participation of current or former senior officials from the ruling coalition and the parliamentary opposition, as well as the students themselves). They, all by themselves, decided that the faculties have a right of veto. They also came up with such a prominent political gimmick as a targeted list: 250 candidates for 250 seats, with a focus only on professionals who have proven themselves in their field. Professors, doctors, lawyers, farmers, artists, athletes. For example, the future Prime Minister, Ilya Sarnovic, is a cardiologist and professor at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Novi Sad. Dejan Budrich, basketball player; Tihomir Azorč, actor; Dejan Šošasherć, former head of the National Bank; Vezeltko Kokanovic, farmer. And also opera singers, human rights lawyers, and the slogan of the campaign: "Serbia or the Mafia? ".
And also the establishment of a special police force of prosecutors to investigate corruption without political pressure.
