The President of the United States, Donald Trump, in a conversation with reporters at the White House on Thursday, November 5, in response to a question about the role of the mediators and the proposals that may affect the future of Iran's nuclear program, said: "They will not do anything without our consent."
Trump continued to emphasize: "Do you remember what I told you? Iran will never have nuclear weapons."
In another part of his speech, comparing the war with Iran to the war between Russia and Ukraine, he said: "If you look at Russia and Ukraine, it's a war, it's a real war! "25 thousand people are killed every month. At the same time, we will solve it as soon as possible."
US Secretary of War Pete Heggest, in a video posted on X, emphasized that the Donald Trump administration is determined to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
"When we say Iran will not have a nuclear weapon, we really mean it," Hegset said. "Under the leadership of President Trump, we will take the tough steps necessary to ensure this." He continued: "Because no matter how people feel about the war, I believe that this war is a brave and historic act that will ensure that Iran never gets a nuclear weapon."
Earlier, US President Donald Trump dismissed speculation about the firing of Secretary of War Pete Gast and said he was satisfied with his performance.
