On the afternoon of Monday, November 4, Iran's state media published photos of the reception of Mohsen Razai, Secretary General of the National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Abbas Arakhchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, from the officials of the three member states of the Mecca Treaty. Prince Khaled bin Salman, the Minister of Defense of Saudi Arabia, Field Marshal Asim Munir, the Commander of the Pakistan Army, and Ibrahim Kalin, the head of the Turkish Intelligence and Security Organization, met with officials of the Islamic Republic in Tehran on behalf of the three member states of the Mecca Defense Treaty. According to the Radio of the Islamic Republic of Iran, this meeting was held at the suggestion of Pakistan and topics such as "regional cooperation, the aggression of the US and Israel against Iran and its consequences" are on the agenda. Earlier, Antonio Guterres, the Secretary General of the United Nations, who is staying in Cairo, welcomed this four-way meeting and said: "A large-scale military attack on Iran and a military attack by Iran on the countries of the Persian Gulf must be prevented at all costs."
At the same time as the senior defense and security officials of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey visited Tehran, the Supreme Council of National Security of the Islamic Republic issued a confidential order to the media, asking them not to provide analysis on the "Mecca Agreement", either confirming or rejecting it.
Shaam informed the local media about the five delegates he is considering for covering the meeting and asked the media to emphasize that this trip is being carried out at the suggestion of Pakistan and with the positive opinion of Iran.
The Supreme Council for National Security also asked the media to emphasize that after the last war, the countries of the region came to the conclusion that security can only be provided with the cooperation and participation of all the countries of the region. Another part of the announcement said that this trip could form the basis for progress towards a "regional endogenous security policy" and that this process would start from Tehran.
According to this message, regional security, the consequences of the US and Israeli military attacks on Iran, the continuation of these attacks and aid to the residents of Palestine and Lebanon will be among the topics discussed at the Tehran meeting.
