The Legal News Agency of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced that the Prosecutor's Office of Tehran declared a crime and filed a lawsuit against the organizers of an exhibition called "Tehran Art Fair".

According to Mizen, this decision was made due to what was called "non-compliance with legal and Shariah standards" and on the basis of this the defendants were summoned to the prosecutor's office to give explanations. Mizen also said that the site for selling tickets to the exhibition and the organizer's user account were blocked in cyberspace.

The news of the criminal charges against the Tehran Art Fair comes after the publication of photos from another event called the "Fitex Exhibition" in Tehran was met with widespread critical reactions from media outlets close to Iran's government and military institutions.
