Mohammed Bakr Khalibaf, the chairman of the Islamic Council, accused Lana Nasiba, an Emirati diplomat and candidate to succeed Antonio Guterres as UN Secretary-General, because she is trying to occupy this position in order to pave the diplomatic way for the "complete Israel project" and "to whitewash the genocide in Gaza".
"Ali Al Nuaimi", head of the Defense, State and Foreign Affairs Committee of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates, accused the Islamic Republic of "promoting instability" in response to "Mohammed Bakr Khalibaf's" criticism of Lana Nasiba's candidacy for UN Secretary General.
Al-Naimi addressed the chairman of the Islamic Council and said: "Your literature represents the same destructive mentality that brought great suffering to our region."
