Channel 12 reported, citing security sources, that there is concern among army commanders that political parties want to use the Iran issue for political gains on the eve of the parliamentary elections on Tuesday, October 27. In an interview with Channel 14, Netanyahu called this report "baseless" and said: "There was no disagreement between us."

A day before the national elections in Israel, the country's defense minister denied reports of a sharp disagreement between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli army over an attack in Iran.

In a statement published on Monday, November 4, Israel Katz said that "Israel has no intention of launching an attack on Iran before the elections."

In his announcement, the Israeli Defense Minister called the published reports and the reactions to them a "shameful and irresponsible" attempt by the political opposition to destroy the government on the eve of the elections.
