Search and rescue operations continue for the third day at the site of the Russian attack on the school in the village of Komishovha in the Zaporizhia region. Nine aerial bombs were released by the Russians. First they hit the people who came to receive humanitarian aid and then the rescuers and the police who arrived on the scene. All necessary services are included. A very difficult operation, very difficult and in fact under constant threat of new Russian attacks. Currently, 40 deaths are known. Unfortunately, some of the bodies have not yet been identified. My condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased. More than 30 people may remain under the rubble. Unfortunately, there was very little world response to this insane attack. But this, like thousands and thousands of other war crimes committed by Russia against Ukraine and Ukrainians, requires a strong response. Evil always moves on if left unanswered. We count on the response: Ukraine's support for air defense is needed right now. I am grateful to partners who are taking appropriate steps.
